Dimensions are approximate. The exact size can vary slightly depending on how much you pack.
Designed with knitted tape that gives the zipper controlled lateral elasticity.
It can flex slightly when a bag is tightly packed, helping the zipper continue to move smoothly under tension. This makes it particularly suited to bags and pouches that are likely to be filled close to capacity.
The construction provides approximately 5mm of additional elasticity on either side of the zipper elements.
Founder’s note
The Packing Cube runs the full length of the V2 Backpack and fits inside the Duff'. Pack it with as much or as little as you like. However full the cube is, that’s how full the bag is.
Most packing cubes are shorter and wider than the bag they go in. They leave dead space above and below, and you end up manoeuvring everything else around a short, fat cube.
This one uses the space properly.

Which bags does it fit?
It is designed for the Almond Oak V2 backpack and the Duff' 30L.
Why make a packing cube?
Because the cube is what makes the system modular. You can switch between backpack and the Duff' without rebuilding your packing setup.
Is it only for clothes?
The main use is clothing and soft essentials, but the goal is simple organization inside either bag.
Will this packing cube fit in V1?
Yes. V1 and V2 share the same dimensions, so this packing cube fits perfectly in the V1 backpack too.
